TEN Cricket is a 24-hour sports channel dedicated to cricket. The
channel is owned by Zee Network India. TEN Cricket was launched on August 10,
2010. Reaching over 55 million homes across the Indian subcontinent, Southeast
Asia and Arab world. TEN Cricket is one of the three channels broadcast by the
network, the others being TEN Golf, TEN Sports and TEN Action. The channel has
live broadcast rights of all international cricket held in Pakistan, South
Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Zimbabwe.
TEN cricket is not available in Pakistan legally, TEN Sports Pakistan feed
broadcast cricket in Pakistan. But some cable operators in Pakistan broadcast
TEN Cricket by using INDIAN DTH service.
An international version of the channel was launched in the United States
for the South Asian population, it is called "Zee Sports Americas"
and was available through Dish Network. However, on April 13, 2011 Zee Sports
Americas ceased operations and was replaced by TEN Cricket. On May 30, 2013 TEN
Cricket was removed due to a carriage dispute.
On August 15, 2013, TEN Cricket launched in Canada on Rogers Cable via an
agreement with Canadian broadcaster Ethnic Channels Group. On August 22, 2013,
the channel launched on Bell Fibe TV.
